The Cattle Baron in Paarl is a home away from home. From the friendly faces on the floor to the owner spending endless time sourcing his quality beef, and still continually strive to raise the standard of meat served in our steakhouse. We also pride ourselves on delivering our customers with elegant dining and unsurpassed standards of service in a relaxed surrounding.
Be sure to visit the dry agers and see the time and care that is placed into our product to ensure that what you receive on your plate is of the best standards and value. You can visit our online shop as well to choose those meat cuts, spices and sauces you like so much to enjoy at home. There is allot to choose from, and it is STEAKHOUSE quality.
Our menu features many dining favourites however we are most renowned for our mouth-watering steaks. The secret lies in the preparation and maturation of our meat. We choose to hand select our beef, dry-ageing it in our own environment, ensuring our steaks are consistently juicy, tender and full of flavour.

Those Private Events
We host numerous private functions in our different private rooms. The Directors Room (right) hosts 12 people in a private facility. Perfect for those meetings with lunch or dinner.
The Nederburg Room (top left) hosts 25 people comfortably, perfect for that inside cosy events or celebrations.
The Terrace (top right) hosts 40 people comfortably with the terrace stacking doors open or closed for that private functions, whatever suits your needs.
Stays our favourite restaurant in Paarl! It is an excellent choice. The new patio outside, covered by glass doors against weather conditions, provides even more to the ambience. We now enjoy our dining with a beautiful view of Paarl Valley and the mountains. The food was delicious, and the braaibroodjie is a winner! Many thanks to Leandré, our waitress, doing an excellent job.

The Cattle Baron Paarl Beef Quality is something diners has always commented on being consistent and value for money. Franco has taken the task to go and hand select all his beef on a weekly basis from his butchers and the market and then preparing it in his own environment and making it available to the public to enjoy in their homes from his butchery and deli at the Paarl store.
He is also making some of his house favourites available in form of DIY Cooking kits that anyone can enjoy cooking with the assistance of online tutorials and making Cattle Baron available in their homes.
